Do It Yourself:
Making the projects more concrete and Presentation

At this meeting of KontextSchule, the respective teams were concerned with continuing to work on their developed project. The first part of the afternoon was at their disposal to make themselves aware of and to record their concepts, the working processes, their questions and the supposedly vulnerable moments of these processes. In the second part of the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to present and discuss the status of their project with our guest Iris Rajanayagam, member of the advisory board at KontextSchule. The aim of the day was to give the participants the chance to reflect and to exchange and to try out various forms of negotiating amongst each other. In addition, Iris Rajanayagam played the role of the "critical friend" and drew the attention of the participants to potentials, contradictions or aspects beyond of what they could see, drawing on her expertise and experience. She gave us a differentiated insight into her intersectionally situated practice as an activist and curator, e.g. at xarsplitta and as a researcher with the research project Passport Control!. Iris Rajanayagam's perspective, professional attitude and contexts were perceived by the participants of KontextSchule as particularly interesting and productive.
